Travelling by plane
Wroclaw’s Copernicus Airport, named after the famous astronomer, is situated 10km south-west of the city centre and is currently being expanded in order to cater for approximately 2 million travellers per year.
Travelling by rail
There are frequent and direct rail connections to Wroclaw’s Central Station (Wrocław Główny PKP) from all major Polish cities, although beware because some trains are a lot slower than others! From Warsaw the journey should take around 5hours 30mins, from Krakow it should be around 4hours 30mins and from Poznan, around 2hours 30mins. There are also direct services from Prague, Hamburg and Berlin.
Travelling by coach
It is also possible to travel to Wroclaw from many European cities by coach or bus. The most popular company providing such a service is Eurolines.
