Travelling by Plane
Lawica Airport is the main airport in Poznan and is located on the west side only 7km from the city centre. The stylish new terminal opened in 2001 and today handles around 1.5 million travellers each year.
Travelling by Rail
The Intercity rail service serves the city’s main station, Poznań Główny, and there are good rail connections from most Central European cities. From the west, connections are usually direct while, from the east, a change at Warsaw may be necessary.
Travelling by Coach
It is also possible to travel to Poznan by coach or bus from many European cities. The most popular company providing such a service is Eurolines.
