Summary – “Kite surfing on snow, it’s crazy exciting!!”
Snowkiting or as it is sometimes called Kite skiing, is an extreme winter activity that takes place on snow or ice. It works on the same principle as Kitesurfing. The skier is pulled by a traction kite, this enables him to generate high speed and make massive jumps. It is a wild event and all ages.
The Snowkiting Foundation course event takes place in Zakopane. This ski area is about 2 hours drive from Krakow. There, you will first undergo some intensive training with our professionally trained staff before suiting up and hitting the snow. The practical training takes place on an exposed flat, with a gently slope over a 5km area. This allows for safe practicing and is the perfect condition for learning the basic freestyle moves, as well as enabling advanced riders to perform more jumps.
