A bungee jump is an extreme activity that takes place when a person is strapped to an elastic before they jump from great heights. This could be from a tall building, crane or bridge, but often people have jumped out of helicopters or hot air balloons. It’s at this point that the magic happens as you free fall towards the earth and the cord stretches and recoils to slow the decent before making the person quite literally bounce in the air.
