Where is Krakow? it is the second largest city in Poland and one of the oldest. It described globally as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and known nationally as Poland’s centre of academic, cultural, and artistic life. It is one of Poland’s most important touristic hubs.
Krakow started life like so many other prosperous cities as a simple settlement. Today it is Poland’s major player in terms of tourism. There are a wealth of attractions from the buildings that can best be described as architectural achievements, monuments and not one, but two market squares. Not to mention Wawel castle, which is recognised in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
This city is without doubt a touristic powerhouse has invested much in entertainment. The number of bars and restaurants are testament to that. but whilst the city is very much international, it still hasn’t lost it Polish charm… Except that is at night, when they… Release the Kraken!! (sorry) and the streets come alive with a young energetic crowd intent on embracing the international flavour that surrounds them. In short, Krakow is the main rival to Sopot as Poland’s No. 1 Party city.
