Summary –
Café Absinthe is indeed a strange place. It has all the core elements needed to be a really crap bar, yet those scientists among us will know what happens when you mix two negatives… you get a positive.
This place rocks, come the weekend, it is one of the best places in Gdansk. The crowd is a mix of regular locals, artists, students and foreigners. I’m usually too drunk to remember the music, but it can’t be bad as there are usually some over energetic girls getting up on the tables. They have a decent collection of craft, amber and some quite strange beers, and lets not forget the Absinthe. This place is definitely worth a visit.
Final Word –
Café Absinthe works because they don’t try to be anything other than a place where you can drink, hangout and enjoy a night.
