Torun is also known as a Gothic Pearl in Northern Poland and its’ easy to see why. The Old Town has a wealth of wonderful gothic style architecture, cobbled streets and inspiring monuments. One can’t help but be seduced as you walk around taking in the sights.
About the tour.
This is a walking tour that is designed to simply showcase the best Torun has to offer. From the starting point in the Old Town, you’ll take in all manner of important sights like the Artus Court, the Church of the Holy Spirit, St. Johns’ Cathedral, the Slanting Tower and the Bridge Gate. In the city that gave us the Copernicus, this tour also pays homage to the great man with visits to the Monument to Nicholas Copernicus, Under the Star House and the Copernicus House.
With a few lesser known gem thrown into the mix, this tour is perfect to help understand a little about and become accustomed to the wonderful city of Torun.
