Gdansk Gdynia and Sopot are three cities on the Baltic cost in Northern Poland. It`s called Trójmiasto, Tri-city or how locals like to refer to it: 3City.
You can drive from Gdynia center, through Sopot and arrive in Gdansk center in less than an hour. So you can understand how integrated this agglomeration is. Each city has it`s unique character and is offering different experiences to their visitors.
About Gdansk, it is the champion, an old city with a history that stretches back to the 13th century. Packed with tourist attractions, landmarks, museums, hotels and restaurants. Sopot is also popular for it`s wide sandy beaches packed with beach bars and water sports. One thing tourist must see is the longest wooden pier in Europe (Molo).
Gdynia is the youngest of the three cities and so the most modern. Up until the 1920s Gdynia was little more than a mere fishing village. Later it was built up as a port and then city grew rapidly from then on. Gdynia is renowned for being the modern hub for shoppers in the three cities. And in Riveria, it houses one of the biggest shopping complexes in Poland. But Gdynia has much more to offer, with its huge range of restaurants and bars, you can find some of the best places to eat with cuisines from all over the world.
