Summary – “Don’t run from a sniper, you just die tired.” – Sniper’s philosophy
There is only one choice of weapon for the marksman – the sniper rifle. It’s portable, extremely accurate over long distances and the bullet placement is unrivalled by any small arms. These guns fully optimised and built to offer pin point perfection.
During this competition, you will first have a practise round, to get a feel. Then points from the first, second and third round are added together to give a final score. At the end, the top two shooters square off for a 1 bullet sudden death round.
Sniper rifle competition in Gdansk uses a 223 REM Weatherby and comprises of the following:
5 rounds – practise round
5 rounds – first round
5 rounds – second round
5 rounds – third round
The two best 2 shooters face off in a sudden death 1 shot each final.
